- Pre-Primary and Primary girls wear a pale blue cap-sleeved leotard with a viole dotty skirt.
- Grade 1 girls wear a pale blue tank leotard with a dance belt.
- Grade 2 through to Grade 6 girls wear a navy blue leotard with a dance belt.
- Boys wear a white ballet T-shirt (or leotard) and black shorts (or leggings) across all the grades.
- Pupils performing at a festival or at an event may need a specific costume.
Most of our uniform can be purchased at our IDS online shop. Boys’ leotards can be purchased from Dancing Daisy.
Ballet shoes are best fitted in a store. Roynon Dancewear in Southampton have the best range of shoes. Otherwise Ruby Slippers in Newbury or Ballet Pointe in Winchester. Always check the shop’s opening times before making a trip in, and take your child with you so they can try on different options.
