Terms and Conditions

• Parents must ensure that their child has been to the toilet before the lesson begins. If a child needs the toilet during a lesson the teacher will take them to the toilet. If the parent is not happy with this arrangement they must stay on site (in the waiting area) in case their child needs them.

• Parents are not allowed to watch lessons as this is a distraction to the children. Parents are warmly invited to watch the final lesson of term.

• Due to the nature of dance it may be necessary for the teacher to use physical contact when training young dancers (e.g. correcting the position of arms or legs).

• On occasion the teacher may take photos and / or videos during lessons. This is to track progress and for news sharing or marketing purposes. No photos will be used without consent from the children’s parents. Children’s names are never captioned with their photo.

• All lessons of the term are billed up front. Should the teacher be unavailable for a scheduled lesson the lesson will be covered by another teacher, carried forward to another date, refunded, or taken off the following term’s bill.

• There will be no reduction in fees for lessons missed by the child. If a child misses a lesson the teacher is not obliged to refund for that lesson. The teacher has the right to refuse a child entry into a lesson if fees are outstanding.

• The teacher makes every effort to ensure that the lessons are fun and inclusive. If a child’s behaviour becomes too disruptive this will be discussed with the child’s parents. Disruptive behaviour includes repeated failure to join in with the exercises or behaving in a way that prevents others in the class from learning. If a child’s disruptive behaviour continues the teacher reserves the right to exclude the child from future lessons.
